Kids who possess an Indiana Youth License can hunt FOR FREE with a paid adult hunter. They have their own bag limit as defined by their license. Indiana law requires that the adult hunter must be close enough to give the youngster directions.

• Anyone born after Dec. 31, 1986, must provide a hunter education number in order to buy a hunting license. Otherwise, only apprentice hunting licenses are available.
