Bushy Creek Outfitters goes the extra mile to encourage our youth to get involved in hunting. We allow youth to hunt for free with a paid adult or guardian hunter.
If you are accompanied by a youth who is 17 or younger at the time of the hunt, and if they have an Indiana youth license (The cost is currently listed as $91.00) they can hunt for free. They must hunt with the adult from the same location as the adult.
- Anyone born after Dec. 31, 1986, must provide a hunter education number in order to buy a hunting license. Otherwise, only apprentice hunting licenses are available.
We have a number of two man tree ladder stands just for this purpose.
Youth hunters can harvest up to three deer including a single buck and two antlerless deer on their youth license at no charge.
When you book your hunt, there is a check box to let us know if you will be accompanied by a youth hunter. There is NO additional charge. You can purchase a Youth non resident license at the license vendor over the counter at the same time we purchase your adult non resident tag. Bushy Creek does not provide the youth hunter with their license. It is your responsibility to cover that nominal cost.
Youth hunters can take up to three deer, one buck and two does.
